Planet Group, established in 1989, initially as a Travel and Tour Operator recognized the importance of preserving the Emirati Heritage and showcasing its traditional and cultural values to the visitors. Beginning of the millennium, Planet started collaboration with Dubai Municipality Heritage Department and Department of Tourism to seek guidance and establish our first Traditional Hotel in 2005.
It was overwhelmingly welcomed by the intellectual Tourists particularly from Western Europe, which encouraged us to launch our First Heritage Guest House;Orient Guest House in 2006 at the most historical district of Al Fahidi in Bastakiya Historical Habitat.
Arabian Courtyard Hotel and Spa bagged several awards from the Travel and Hospitality Operatives. The hotel offers the perfect habitat to relive the magical moments and all the mythical charms of by-gone era of old Arabia. It has 173 traditionally themed rooms;109 Heritage Rooms, 41 Executive Rooms, 20 Family suites and 3 Grand Suites. With multiple dining options;Arabic, Continental, Chinese, Indian, Italian and Thai Restaurants.
Heritage Collection, features four (4) Heritage Guest Houses;Orient Guest House at the Bastakiya historical area, Barjeel Heritage Guest House by the Al Ghubaiba, and Ahmedia Heritage Guest House in the Shindagha Heritage Village. Barjeel Heritage Guest House also features a Traditional Restaurant, offering Emirati and Arabic cuisine in a most romantic set overlooking the Dubai Creek. Ahmedia Heritage Guest House and Gallery in Al Ras, next to Ahmedia School Museum and a branch of Ahmedia Heritage Guest House adjacent to the main. All these houses were acquired from Dubai Municipality Heritage Department and Dubai Cultural and were transformed into Guest Houses to enable the visiting tourists to have a live-in experience of old Emirati way of living and traditional lifestyle. Each Room is different in size, lay-out and furnished with traditional and classic furniture, however, equipped with modern facilities and offers free Wi-Fi and satellite Television.
